Teen Mom’s Kailyn Lowry has had her fair share of drama in the years since she originally appeared on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant. Her latest scandal involves her ex-husband, Javi Marroquin, and his ex-girlfriend, Lauren Comeau. Kail and Javi divorced in 2016 and share a son, Lincoln. Shortly after their split, Javi began dating Lauren, and they eventually had a son, Eli.

Lauren and Javi’s relationship has been messy, to say the least. They first broke up in August 2019. They were having a small gathering at their home when tired, new-mom Lauren went upstairs to bed. Not long after, Javi brought a female guest into the bathroom but forgot to lock the door. Lauren must have gotten suspicious and wandered downstairs to find the two together. It was later discovered that the woman was a member of the Crossfit gym that Javi owns. He was just giving her a “one-on-one” workout, right?! 🥴

Girl, Don’t Do It!

Despite the major damage that must have caused to their relationship, Lauren decided to take Javi back only weeks later. For a while, things were quiet. Lauren and Javi continued to promote their Arbonne business while raising Eli. Kail and Javi were sharing co-parenting duties for their son, Lincoln. Although Kail and Javi have not always been on great terms after their divorce, things seemed to have calmed down between the two while Javi was focused on reconciling with Lauren after his cheating scandal.

The peace between all parties lasted until October 2020, when Kail dropped a bombshell claim on an episode on Teen Mom 2. She explained on her podcast, Coffee Convos, that she and Javi had agreed on a new drop-off arrangement regarding Lincoln because she had recently moved further away. Javi initially agreed to drive a longer distance, but then backed out of the deal. Angry, Kail seemingly sought revenge.

He Said What?!

In the Teen Mom 2 scene, Kail is talking to a producer when suddenly, she makes a shocking claim. She says Javi has been trying to “hook up” with her lately, the most recent attempt being a proposal to get down in a Wawa parking lot. This is too much…

Once this confession was made, there was no going back. It was going to air in the coming episodes and Lauren would see text screenshots from her fiance to his ex-wife. Kail said she felt badly for Lauren and that she would be humiliated to find out by watching the show. Javi begged Kail not to say anything to Lauren, and she agreed to leave the situation for Javi and Lauren to figure out on their own.

After the episode aired, fans assumed that Javi and Lauren had split. They had not recently posted each other on social media, and Lauren had liked several posts about “not caring anymore” and moving on. Still, it was presumed that nothing had actually happened between Javi and Kail, as she explained his advances to be completely one-sided. This week, we are questioning that as Lauren has dropped some bombs of her own.

Oh, Honey, No..

Lauren started streaming on Instagram Live to finally discuss what really happened when the world found out Javi was trying to cheat (again). “The night I found out, we were going to go put a deposit down on a house the very next day,” she revealed. “I’m thankful that I obviously found out. But this has been going on for three years, you know, I think there’s a lot more that none of us know, and only two people know. I think there’s a lot more truth to it.”

Two people? Fans started to question what she meant by this. Then, Lauren said something interesting: “I have dealt with my fair share of betrayal and pain my whole life, but what I learned today, what I found out today, from the kids none the less, just makes me feel like the last three years, they’ve just been waiting for this to happen.” She confessed, “If you see Javi driving around in a black Suburban today, now you know why.”

A source told The Ashley’s Reality Roundup that Kail had upgraded her SUV, and Javi decided to buy her old Suburban.

“He had a white SUV that he traded into the dealership in order to get the black Suburban Kail had recently traded into the dealership,” the source said. “Lauren feels like Javi driving a car that used to belong to Kail is a slap in the face to her. But what’s funny is the white SUV that she and Javi both use to drive was also Kail’s car originally. Lauren used to drive it around, knowing it was Kail’s old car and it never bothered her.”

This claim is also supported by Javi’s snapchats from that day.

While on the Instagram Live, Lauren also made claims that she believes that Kail and Javi have been hooking up for the entirety of her relationship with Javi. Ouch.

Javi was quick to deny Lauren’s claims, telling InTouch, “While I have tried to avoid a he said/she said situation by staying quiet, the accusations Lauren made against me this afternoon on Instagram are false. My only focus right now is creating healthy coparenting relationships with both Lauren and Kail for the sake of my boys and bettering myself.”

Kail remained more quiet, choosing not to make a statement publicly. However, she did share a cryptic message on January 23rd via her Instagram story.

While we don’t know exactly what this means, it is important to note that it was posted at the same time that Kail and Javi were both posting videos at their son’s soccer practice. While we don’t know if they were interacting with each other while they were there, it seems that they were both present.

During all of this, Lauren was posting Instagram stories at the beach, seemingly on a girls’ getaway to escape the recent events (can you blame her?). That’s all we’ve got for this, ehm, “entanglement”. We’ll keep you posted as more information comes out.
